Spring Designs

I have been working away on some new designs for spring, drafting and altering patterns, sewing up samples, and choosing the best of the bunch. I was going to take my dress form onto the porch to photograph the samples, but with 30-40 mph gusts, I guess that will have to wait, or maybe I'll just take the pictures in the studio. I am hoping to get some of the new designs made up soon for the Etsy site. I have also been working on a few non-Etsy projects, including an outfit I am entering in a magazine's Jane Austen spread. I imagine there will be a ton of submissions, so we'll have to see if mine makes it or not. As I always have such grand plans, I am just hoping I can finish the outfit in time and in the manner I want. Keep your fingers crossed for me. Once I pin down some of the exact details, I will post more on this. Well, I should be off to work on a pelisse pattern. Ah, for the love of Jane Austen!
