After making over five gallons of goldenrod dye, I am now working on finalizing a few patterns for my new fall/winter items. I'm planning a photo session tomorrow afternoon so I can get some of the new items listed on my Etsy store. There is a new dress, styled from an Edwardian apron pattern. With kimono sleeves and front pockets, the twill dress will make a great layering piece. I'm really pleased with the way it turned out. There is also a peplum jacket made from organic cotton fabric featuring autumn leaves handprinted with natural colorants. Coming projects include a few more jackets (can't have enough of those for fall and winter, right?) and a button-front vest.
Photos of all these items should be coming sooon. For now, I'm off to the sewing machine.
